The Week Ahead at Manchester United from 12 October 2020

It’s Wes Brown’s birthday, with the former United defender turning 41 years old. Maybe he’ll be celebrating by watching some of our stars in international action: Eric Bailly’s Ivory Coast face Japan in a 15:45 BST kick-off, while Spain play Ukraine at 19:45 BST.

Wednesday sees the end of this international break, with a lot of Solskjaer’s men in contention to play. Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and Dean Henderson are all in the England squad which welcomes Denmark to Wembley, while Daniel James and loanee Dylan Levitt could feature in Wales’s game against Bulgaria, Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial’s France play Croatia, meanwhile Donny van de Beek and the Netherlands visit Italy in a crunch Nations League tie. Also in that competition, Victor Lindelof’s Sweden and Scott McTominay’s Scotland will play Portugal and Czech Republic respectively.
