Solskjaer set for 100th match as United manager

The Norwegian club legend became our caretaker boss back on 19 December 2018 and he memorably began his reign by overseeing an entertaining 5-1 win over former club Cardiff City.

That exciting first result in Wales started a morale-boosting 11-match unbeaten run across all competitions and a stunning Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain soon followed. Solskjaer was later unveiled as the club’s permanent manager on 28 March 2019.

In his first full season in charge, 2019/20, Ole led United to a third-place finish in the Premier League and three semi-final appearances in the League Cup, Emirates FA Cup and Europa League.

Solskjaer is determined to win trophies this campaign and, after an inconsistent start, owing to an extremely short pre-season campaign, his Reds are beginning to find good form and fitness.
