Bushell’s first day proper at the club was back in early January 1995 and he has provided so much dedication and support in his various roles, helping ensure the famed production line of talent at United keeps moving forwards.
When asked about the best part of his job by United Review, our official matchday programme, he said: “Dealing with youngsters, looking after them, and the pride you get from their development. It’s the people, being proud of people like Marcus [Rashford], but also all the others, like Jimmy Dunne or Joe Rothwell, or Gerard Pique at Barcelona!
“I remember with Gerard, the manager came out and said everything’s done, the only problem now is we need some good digs for him, so if we don’t sign him, it’s because of you, Dave!”
