AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS QUALIFIERS

Both Eric Bailly and Hannibal have been called up to represent their respective nations in Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

For Bailly, Ivory Coast host Zambia at home, before travelling to Lesotho in Group H. Ivory Coast will stage the next tournament in 2023, so have already confirmed their place but will play in the qualifying games regardless.

In Group J, Hannibal’s Tunisia face matches against Equatorial Guinea and Botswana in the first round of qualifiers for the next African Cup of Nations.

KIRIN CUP

Tunisia also have Kirin Cup fixtures to contend with over the upcoming international break. The Kirin Cup is a competition between four teams which is organised by the Japanese brewing company, Kirin.

This year, Japan, Tunisia, Chile, and Ghana are the four teams participating. On Friday 10 June, Tunisia take on Chile in the semi-final in the Japanese city of Kobe.

The winners of each semi-final will play one another, while the losers will have a third-place play-off to determine the final standings. Tunisia will therefore play either Japan or Ghana after Chile, depending on the outcome of both semi-finals.
