SHARING THE LOAD

United’s century of goals has been shared between 20 different players – the most in any one campaign since Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season at the club, in 2012/13.

Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford lead the way with 20 goals apiece, with Mason Greenwood close behind on 16. An additional nine players, including January signings Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo, have registered multiple strikes for the club, with eight further men managing one goal, including Ashley Young, who has now left the club. Oh, and there have been two own goals scored in our favour, too!

Here’s a complete list of our scorers this season:

Martial and Rashford – 20
Greenwood – 16
Fernandes – 8
Ighalo and McTominay – 5
James – 4
Maguire and Mata – 3
Andreas, Fred and Lingard – 2
Lindelof, Pogba, Williams, Dalot, Jones, Matic, Shaw and Young – 1
Own goals – 2
