The club’s first-ever kit under the Newton Heath name was green and yellow, and adidas says our new away jersey takes its inspiration from that colour. It has been designed to look good wherever it is worn and aligns to the adidas ethos of

The engineered pattern is integrating the current trend of hand-painted graphics and camouflage. The latter is made up of hand-drawn waves which symbolise the three rivers of Manchester, in the Irwell, Irk and Medlock, which all appear on the City of Manchester coat of arms.
