Chong picks six shows to watch as part of his MUTV Takeover

2019/20 MATCH: LASK 0 UNITED 5

The winger’s first choice as part of his MUTV Takeover is our final game before the enforced break due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Reds beat LASK by five goals in our Europa League last-16, first-leg tie in March, and it was a superb performance from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men in Austria.

“I think it’s been quite a while now since this game and it’s easy to pick that as everyone’s missing football,” said Tahith. “To go back to that time when everyone was on the pitch, that would be nice to see.

“I think as a team we played some good football that night, some quick football, with Odion’s goal in there as well. I think as a team we played very well.”

Chong provided the assist for Mason Greenwood’s strike during the clash, a moment he remembers well.

“I think it was Eric [Bailly] who cleared the ball, and then Mason got onto it and he played me in through the middle,” the youngster recalled. “I think I chopped back onto my left foot and played Mason through. With Mason… his finishing is different class and him getting into that position, you just have a good feeling that he’s going to score.”

ALL THE GOALS: ROBIN VAN PERSIE

Coming through the Feyenoord youth system, and then subsequently moving to United, Tahith has heard a lot of stories about Robin van Persie over the years.

It’s no surprise, therefore, that the winger is keen to watch his compatriot do what he does best… score goals. Tahith has already explained the reasons behind this choice in greater detail.
