Former Reds defender Nemanja Vidic was in third with 15 per cent, while Patrice Evra was also included in the 10-man shortlist, to recognise his January 2006 transfer – the same month Vidic also moved to Old Trafford.
Bruno wasn’t the only current Red among the nominees – Nemanja Matic earned a spot for his January switch from Benfica to Chelsea in 2014, where he spent three-and-a-half years before his transfer to United.
