WEST HAM’S TEAM NEWS

Lukasz Fabianski (fractured cheekbone and eye socket) and Vladimir Coufal (heel) have both been ruled out of the trip north by manager David Moyes, after picking up injuries in the impressive 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

With Danny Ings cup-tied, Michail Antonio is set to be recalled to lead the attack, following his goal as a substitute against at the weekend. Maxwel Cornet and Kurt Zouma have been flagged as doubts, while Alphonse Areola appears likely to start in goal.

“We’ve got a squad available and ready to go,” said ex-Reds boss Moyes. “But we’ve got a few injuries. I think that [Fabianski and Coufal] are really the two injuries we had from the weekend. Apart from that, the squad is just about what it was.

“We’re actually waiting on a couple of boys who have got knocks as well. It’s a very quick turnaround. If you look at our fixtures, it’s difficult when you have to go to Old Trafford on a Wednesday and then we’re away to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday. This one getting fitted in makes it a little more awkward.”
