THURSDAY

Thursday marks the date of a memorable fixture for United back in 2019, as the Reds emphatically defeated Chelsea 4-0 in the Premier League.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Harry Maguire and Daniel James all made their debuts, with James getting on the scoresheet late on.

Keep an eye out for images and updates from training, which will be posted on our official channels on during the week, as the Reds prepare to travel to Brentford.

FRIDAY

On Friday, Ten Hag is set to conduct his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday’s clash with Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium. You can tune in to the briefing live on MUTV, the Official App and ManUtd.com.

On this day in 2003, Cristiano Ronaldo signed for United for the first time. The Portugal star enjoyed much success, of course, winning three Premier League titles and the Champions League, and, after departing in 2009, Ronaldo returned to United in 2021.

Iconic United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy signed for the Reds on 12 August 2001. What a signing he was!

Subscribers can watch Manchester United’s Under-21s’ clash with Crystal Palace (19:00 BST kick-off) live in the Official App and on MUTV. It is the opening home game of the Premier League 2 season for the young Reds, after the 3-1 defeat at Arsenal at the weekend.
