Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gives update on Cavani and Martial after West Ham

Before the game, Ole decided to rest Rashford and Bruno Fernandes and both were heavily involved after being introduced at the break.

“It’s not easy leaving these players out but that’s the thing…We try to manage the whole season, the playing time, you know, injuries and fatigue and the little thing that we’ve got,” our manager said. 

“We know at half-time that you can do things and change things in games. It certainly helped with the changes, although it was slight injuries that made us have to do them.”

United’s next fixture is against RB Leipzig in our final match of Group H in the UEFA Champions League. A draw will be enough to see us through to the knockout phase.
