Man Utd supporter Martin Hibbert climbs Mount Kilimanjaro in a wheelchair

A lifelong Red, Martin posed with his United flag atop the mountain to celebrate his remarkable achievement.

Following the climb, he conducted an interview with BBC News and said: “Don’t write off somebody because they’re in a wheelchair. Look at what they can do when they’ve got the right help and support. They can climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

“Disabled people can literally do anything that they want to do. Hopefully people see that, and embrace disability and not turn their back on it.”
