Joe Hugill nominated for Premier League 2 Player of the Month

The striker, who signed from Sunderland during the close season, is still eligible for the Under-18s but has been pushed into Neil Wood’s Under-23s squad ahead of schedule.

Hugill is hoping to succeed another former Black Cats forward in Sam Greenwood, who won September’s award after shining with his new club Leeds United.
