How to follow Man Utd Under 21s v PSV Under 21s at Leigh Sports Village

SETTING THE SCENE

The Under-21s have experienced fluctuating results this term, and currently sit 11 in the Premier League 2.

Last time out, Dempsey’s side were defeated 4-0 by League 1 side Bolton Wanderers in the Papa Johns Trophy third round – the furthest any young Reds side has ever got in the competition.

Prior to this match, United had defeated Wolves’ Under-21s in the second round of the same competition, having been beaten by Monaco and Man City in the two previous fixtures.

Some of our Under-21s, however, travelled with our first team to the winter training camp in Spain, such as Kobbie Mainoo and Sam Murray, to name just two. They will no doubt be looking to apply some of this experience to help United get our first win of the competition on Monday.
