As Fred has written in an Instagram post to his 1.5million followers, he feels heads can be held high following another eventful season.
“Yesterday was a tough and painful night, but I’m sure we fought until the last minute and I am proud to be part of this team,”
writes Fred, alongside a picture of a group huddle.
“Another season that ends, I want to thank God and everyone who supported us. Now it’s time to get some rest and get ready for the next season. UNITED!”
In case you didn’t already know, the 2020/21 Premier League season will start around the weekend of 12/13 September.
The fixtures for the campaign will be released on Friday.
