Eriksen & Lindelof praise ‘important’ Rashford amid recent form

Since returning from the World Cup, where he finished England’s joint-top scorer with three goals, Rashford opened the scoring against Forest in the first half, curling Eriksen’s clever corner beyond the helpless Wayne Hennessey.

This goal added to Marcus’s amazing solo effort against Burnley in the Carabao Cup on the 21 December, as United’s number 10 grabbed the headlines against the Clarets in the first match back after the winter break.

Amid Rashford’s recent form, both Eriksen and fellow Red Lindelof have described the attacker as “a very important player” for Erik ten Hag’s side, predicting that he will go on to score many more goals in the second half of the 2022/23 campaign.
