While Dalot’s celebration is incredibly calm, he has been known to react with much more abandon when his colleagues hit the net.

This is something he readily accepts, as he gets lost in the moment, just like any fan does.

“Yeah, I think I celebrate more when I don’t score!” he agreed. “More when my team-mates score than when I’m actually scoring a goal.

“I mean it just shows how much I care about first, the club, and then my team-mates. The way they score and the team reacts, I think that’s the most important.

“And for them to feel my energy. I think it’s also important for them to know that I will celebrate with them when we win. As long as we keep together, as long as we act as a team, I think we can do it.”
