Qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar are scheduled across the globe and, with the tournament only 14 months away, we’re starting to see the groups take shape.
As ever, plenty of faces from the Manchester United squad are set to be in action, including summer signings Cristiano Ronaldo, Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho.
Here’s our complete guide to when and where the Reds will be involved in September’s senior internationals…
ENGLAND
Four United players have made it into Gareth Southgate’s squad for qualifiers against Hungary, Andorra and Poland. Sancho, Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw all featured in the Three Lions’ run to the Euro 2020 final, while Jesse Lingard has reclaimed his place despite narrowly missing out on the tournament.
