Ole Gunnar Solskjaer becomes the third-fastest Man United manager to record 50 wins

The Norwegian reached the milestone in his 92nd fixture in all competitions since taking charge in December 2018, and becomes the third-fastest to the mark after Ernest Mangnall (78 games) and Jose Mourinho (81 games).

Solskjaer becomes the 13th manager to reach the number, and will overtake Louis van Gaal (54) with a further five wins.

But Ole has some way to go before reaching the top of tree. To do so, he’ll first need to displace Sir Matt Busby, who has 576 victories to his name, and Sir Alex Ferguson, who recorded a mammoth 895 successes between 1986 and 2013.
