Mason Mount steps up recovery from injury at Man Utd

Like all United fans, Mount enjoyed the dramatic Boxing Day victory over Aston Villa and, via Instagram, he congratulated team-mate Rasmus Hojlund on scoring a first Premier League goal. 

Erik ten Hag could provide an update on Mason’s progress in his weekly press conference this coming Friday.

Encouragingly, the manager confirmed last week that Mason and two more absentees – Casemiro and Lisandro Martinez – could all return in January.
