NEWCASTLE TEAM NEWS
The Magpies have been ravaged by injuries in recent months and Eddie Howe didn’t make a substitution during Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain.
His seven-man bench at the Parc des Princes included two goalkeepers and four teenagers, although Newcastle were moments away from securing a shock victory only for Kylian Mbappe to salvage a point for the French side with a controversial stoppage-time penalty.
Matt Ritchie and Emil Krafth are available once more – they haven’t been registered for the Champions League – while Lewis Miley, aged 17, has been impressing in central midfield in the absence of Sean Longstaff, Sandro Tonali and Joe Willock.
Regular starters Sven Botman, Dan Burn and Callum Wilson will miss out, while Harvey Barnes, Jacob Murphy and Matt Targett have also been on the sidelines recently.
