WHAT IS GALATASARAY’S FORM LIKE?
The Turkish side’s 10-match league winning run was halted at Hatayspor prior to the international break, but Okan Buruk’s men were convincing victors at the weekend.
Dries Mertens scored twice, while Mauro Icardi and Wilfried Zaha were also among the goals, as Alanyaspor were beaten 4-0 on Saturday.
Galatasaray’s 11 wins in 13 games are still not enough to place them top of the Super Lig table, with arch-rivals Fenerbahce currently in first position by virtue of goal difference.
In terms of the Champions League, Galatasaray come into this one on the back of consecutive defeats to Bayern. Harry Kane netted in both fixtures, although the Turks did keep the Bundesliga champions at bay until late on at the Allianz Arena, before England’s leading scorer struck twice in a 2-1 success.
