WSL match preview for Man Utd v Aston Villa 7 March 2021

FORM GUIDE
United will be looking to bounce back from two defeats in a row against Manchester City and Reading. Before that that, the Reds had picked up back-to-back wins over Birmingham City and Everton and we currently sit in third place in the WSL, six points clear of Arsenal in fourth.

Meanwhile, the visitors have just one win in their last seven games in all competitions. This form puts them 10th in the WSL, only four points in front of the bottom side Bristol City. A win would see Villa potentially move up to eighth.

HEAD-TO-HEAD RECORD
The earlier league fixture this season saw United pick up a comfortable 2-0 win at the Bescot Stadium, thanks to goals from Leah Galton and Ella Toone. United have won all three matches we have previously played against the Villains and have scored nearly six goals per games in our previous meetings. That includes an historic 12-0 victory in the Reds’ first-ever league match, in 2018.
