Solskjaer not concerned about Mason Greenwood ahead of Chelsea clash

Greenwood has had a great start to his United career, having scored 18 times for the Reds so far.

The youngster has missed recent games against Newcastle United and Paris Saint-Germain due to a niggle but Ole hopes to see him back in action for Saturday’s match.

The boss added that recent reports regarding the reason for Greenwood’s absence were wide of the mark.

“I think in the club we have a great record and tradition and history of bringing our players through,” the manager said.

“It means from early on they have good habits, we trust you, you can express yourself. Mason has come through this programme and has done fantastic. He’ll be kicking on, I’m sure. Of course, he’s a very exciting boy to work with.”
