Shoretire started October with a consolation strike in the 6-1 defeat at Blackburn Rovers in Premier League 2 and then provided all three assists in the 3-3 home draw with Brighton & Hove Albion.

The 18-year-old sensationally scored in the 95th and 96th minutes away to Chelsea midway through the month, to earn a remarkable 3-3 draw with the Blues at the death.

There was more late drama in the Papa Johns Trophy tie against Fleetwood Town, when he crashed home another stoppage-time strike to make it 2-2.

Another goal was notched in the 3-2 triumph over Wolves, when he equalised 12 minutes from the end, before Marc Jurado’s winner.
