Marcus Rashford looking to end on a positive note ahead of World Cup period November 2022

Having successfully beaten Aston Villa by 4-2 in the Carabao Cup on Thursday evening, Erik ten Hag’s side responded in the best possible way after suffering a 3-1 defeat to the Villans at Villa Park just days prior to our second meeting.

With the season now set to pause for a little over a month for the World Cup in Qatar, Marcus will link up with the Three Lions, following his selection by England boss Gareth Southgate earlier this week.

But before then, our attention now swiftly turns to our final action before the competition in the Middle East, at Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday, and our no.10 has insisted both he and his fellow United team-mates are, of course, determined to temporarily sign off from club action with a victory in the capital.
