How to follow Southampton v United

TEAM NEWS

One of the main talking points prior to our last outing – Monday’s 2-1 win over Liverpool – was the return of France forward Anthony Martial. The striker came off the bench at half-time to make his first competitive appearance for United this season, impressing with an assist and some impressive all-round play, and he could be in line for more minutes against Southampton this Saturday.

Victor Lindelof and Facundo Pellistri have been United’s other injury concerns recently. We could have further updates on Ten Hag’s squad when he delivers his pre-match press conference on Friday.

For our hosts, Tino Livramento remains out with a long-term knee injury, while fellow full-back Romain Perraud has also been sidelined since the first match of the season away to Tottenham. Perraud was deemed not fit enough to feature in the Saints’ Premier League win over Leicester at the weekend, but he may be back for our trip to St. Mary’s.
