Exclusive – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer previews West Ham v Man Utd – December 2020

How is the squad shaping up, given Marcus Rashford came off in that game against PSG?
“Marcus has had some treatment today and he joined in the session, a very light session. He’s having treatment again – the longer the game went on [the other night] it became sore and he couldn’t carry on. Hopefully, he’ll be ready for Saturday and, if not, then hopefully Tuesday.”

Bar Luke Shaw, is everyone fighting fit?
“Fighting fit, they all want to be part of this. There are a couple of niggles but let’s see how they react after the session today and who can travel.”

What have you made of West Ham and the work done by David Moyes to get them up to fifth in the league now?
“He’s had some fantastic results. The results have come from good performance as well. He’s had some other games like the Liverpool one where they were unlucky not to get something from it, they drew against [Manchester] City and have won the last three. I’ve been impressed, but not surprised because, when you follow football and you follow David, he’s always organised his teams really well and he’s reaping the rewards at the moment.”
