Diogo Dalot says everyone counts in the Man Utd squad

Dalot played in the two Champions League games against Barcelona in 2019, when we were beaten 4-0 on aggregate, but hopes things will be very different come the final whistle at Old Trafford, following the 2-2 draw at the Nou Camp.

“I mean they are going to be completely different games from that time,” he explained. “The only thing that is going to be the same is the atmosphere around the games. The expectation is for a high-quality game, an exciting game, and I think the fans will enjoy it. We will try to enjoy it as well and, hopefully at the end, we will celebrate.

“Obviously, these kind of games set up a lot of things – if we are up to the level if we want to win trophies, if we want to be in the best European games there are, we have to show we can win these games.

“I think there is no better team to play against than one of the best teams in the world and we have to be ready and have to try to win it.”
